100% perfection! From checking in where the restaurant had noted and focused on reservation requests for the special celebration. Our Server, Waitress Alyssa was beyond amazing. Excellent attention, follow up, follow through, timing, nothing was rushed. The food....oh my goodness. It had 16-18 years since last dining here. It was better than ever!!! Get the steak, get extra sides, get the raspberry pie!!! Pinot Wine, Williamette Valley, Excellent.

I visited here for the first time yesterday evening. Many people and food publications say this is the place to for a steak dinner in Minnesota and Murray's definitely lives up to the hype! Paige was my server and she was very professional and friendly. All the food was fabulous and I left there stuffed! Thanks for a great meal Murray's!

Fun and friendly atmosphere in downtown Minneapolis. Great happy hour menu that is very shareable. Lots of steak items on the menu. A friend and I split the steak sandwich which was literally pieces of tender steak cooked how you like with cheese on sourdough. We ordered a side salad to complement the crispy fries that came with the sandwich. Lots of cocktails and draft beer on the menu, too. I had the Guinness draft and my friends had the side car and martini. Our server, Jeff, was personable and made excellent suggestions including their famous raspberry pie. They brought us plates to split it three ways. Piles of raspberry made for a pleasantly tart and slightly sweet pie. Perfect end to our meal. PS If you found this review helpful, please "heart it. What can I say, Murray's is a classic steakhouse, it has the best food, I have been eating here since the 1970's. If you have an occasion, go here. The food and atmosphere is great. It is my favorite steakhouse in town. But. It is not free. If money was no object, I would eat here all the time. In our family, you only get to go here on a birthday that ends in zero, or an anniversary divisable by 25.

Aerica was amazing in the bar area. We come by everytime we are in town for a game. We much prefer to sit in the bar area than the dining room. It is quieter, it is less dark, and you can watch the snow fall outside.

Staying in the hotel next door and decided to try it. Murrays was highly recommended to us by several local people. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. Oscar constantly checked on us and he wasn't even our waiter. We ordered the carb cakes and the Silver Butternife steak (comes with one side and your choice of salad and soup for two). It was tender and absolutely delicious. The meal is more like for four people than two, so easy on the bread basket if you can resist. The dessert was refreshing. Made us feel like we were eating something healthy.

I’m a sweet tea drinker, and since it wasn’t on the menu, our server went out of her way to hand-make some for me using simple syrup. We had one of the best meals ever here at Murray's!! We had steaks, lobster, Oysters Rockefeller, Ceasar salads, asparagus, Augratins, and their fabulous bread basket. EVERYTHING WAS FABULOUS! Our server was great too!

- This is my favorite steakhouse in the cities. Originally, we were deciding between Murray’s vs. Manny’s (we heard both are really good steakhouses), but we ended up going with Murray’s this time because we heard the sides were amazing and a must try. We got the silver butter knife steak for two as well as thai chili brussels sprouts and and mac n cheese. These were all dishes and sides that were recommended to us by friends, and I highly recommend them. The steak for two included a choice of soup or salad. We got the lobster bisque (it was the soup of the day). Everything tasted really good. I liked the brussells sprouts more than the mac n cheese; the mac n cheese was a bit more thick than I expected but still really good. Our steak was cut in front of us, but the presentation of the steak after our waiter cut isn’t as good as other steak presentations. It all ended up in our stomaches though! Definitely recommend!

Went here for our 5th wedding anniversary. This was our first time. The experience was amazing. Atmosphere was of a classic steak house fine dining. The food was delicious. We got the butter knife steak. Cooked perfectly. The staff was knowledgeable and top tier. Would highly recommend.
